Title: Part-Time Family Resource Coordinator (Bi-lingual Spanish Preferred)
Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly – 21 hours per week
Supervisor: Family Resource Program Director
Location: Red Hook, NY
Starting Pay: $18.96 per hour

Requirements:
· Good documentation skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to establish a rapport.
· Ability to motivate others towards achieving goals.
· Ability to work independently with strong sense of focus, task-oriented, non-judgmental, open personal qualities, and a clear sense of boundaries.
· A strong sense of and respect for confidentiality involving both clients and fellow employees.
· Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse families and communities with the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
· Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Job Summary:
· Provide case management services to all clients including intake assessment, benefit assessment, goal setting, long term case plan development, weekly case plan development, progress monitoring, individual money management, tenant education, advocacy, and referrals.
· Maintain a caseload of 15 families.
· Meet regularly with clients, weekly or bi-weekly for case management services.
· Connect families with needed and available agency and community resources. Follow-up with clients and agencies as appropriate to document use/success of referral.
· Input accurate and complete data for all contacts with clients into agency database.
· Ensure that all documents submitted on behalf of a client are valid.
· Contact landlords to validate eviction notices.
· Conduct outreach to neighborhoods.
· Provide all required documentation in a timely manner, which may include client follow-up, outcome evaluation, client contact sheets, and evaluations.
· Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, supervisory sessions, and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships as requested.
· Adhere to agency policy, procedures and the agency code of ethics.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Open Position: Weatherization Crew Member
Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly – 35 hours per week
Supervisor: Weatherization Crew Chief
Location: Poughkeepsie, New York
Job Requirements:
· Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of experience in the construction field to include general carpentry and math skills. Must be physically able to bend/lift 50 lbs., crawl into and out of small spaces, including underneath mobile homes, climb ladders, and use power/hand tools.
CAPDC training provided may include:
· Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification as a Building Analyst I within one year.
· Installation of air-sealing materials to control infiltration using proper applications and techniques.
· All measures requiring carpentry skills on housing units as assigned.
· Interim and post blower door tests to measure infiltration rates. Use of blower door to direct air sealing measures.
· Use and maintenance of Weatherization program tools and equipment.
· Participation in training activities to stay current in procedures and techniques.
· Compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to the Weatherization Program’s safety rules and procedures.
· Perform practices and procedures to ensure worker, co-worker and client health and safety.
· Training to understand insulation materials, equipment, sidewall, and attic installation techniques.
· Understanding of construction materials and their proper application, knowledge of building types, components, and terminologies.
