Puttin' the Fun in Fundraising!
Members of the Ulster Savings Bank (USB) and Ulster Insurance Services, Inc. (UIS) team had a great time supporting the 7th Annual Wappingers Falls' Community Action Partnership - “Putt Fore ACTION ‘24” - minigolf tournament at DC Sports in Wappingers Falls. Proceeds raised were donated to the Community Action Partnership for Dutchess County, an organization that aids local individuals and families in need. In addition to a mini golf competition, attendees enjoyed munchies, drinks, basket raffles, contests and door prizes. USB’s two Poughkeepsie branches fielded teams for the mini-golf challenge. Other USB and UIS volunteers staffed the check-in table, supervised the golf-swing competition, and even served sno-cones to the attendees. Our Poughkeepsie branches have been active participants in past Putt for Action events. This year, USB was a major sponsor of the event.
