
Our Mission:
Community Action Partnership for Dutchess County aims to partner with individuals and families to eliminate poverty and identify the resources and opportunities available to them to enhance their self-reliance. With your help, we can make a difference.
We offer services to help you with Financial Assistance, Food Pantry Needs, Prescription Assistance, Dress for Success employment empowerment at our Career Center or Boutique for females, Suited to Succeed for males for interview and employment suiting's, Weatherization Assistance for your home, Free Tax preparation, and Community Outreach events throughout the year to help local families.

Energy Fuel After Hour Hotline: If you need emergency fuel after 4 pm, please call 845-437-0050 and we can help you with 10 gallons of fuel per season. You will be asked what part of Dutchess County you live in and they will provide you with the nearest gas station that we use that distributes fuel . You will be informed of the documentation to bring. To learn more about how this program works call our main office at 845-452-5104 ext. 183.



We can provide help for those in need through programs such as HEAP, SNAP, or with our
Food Pantry's at each site.

Dover: Tuesday 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm No appointment needed
Red Hook: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm; 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm

The 2020-2023 Community Needs Assessment (CNA) is completed every three years. Community Action Partnership completes a CNA to provide guidance in forming a strategic plan to meet the needs on the local level.
