The Dress for Success Dutchess County program empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, career acquisition and job retention skills training, and professional attire to women throughout the Hudson Valley. Dress for Success Dutchess County supports work-ready and working women by offering services in our Boutique, and Career Center and through our Stepping into Success (SIS) Program and the Building Our Success in Steps (BOSS) Club.
All services are offered by appointment, free of charge.
Boutique - We offer career styling appointments to women prior to job interviews and/or starting new careers. Women receive professional attire and confidence building support from Career Stylists during private sessions.
Career Success Center – We provide job search support, resume development, Interview preparation, career guidance and more, to women supported by volunteer Career Success Coaches during in-person and/or virtual appointments.
SIS Program – We prepare women to enter the workplace via Lunch and Learn workshops presented by professional subject matter experts.
BOSS Club – We support the career success and skills development of women through career retention and life skills development workshops presented by subject matter experts.
The Dress for Success Team
Each site affiliate is an independent, volunteer-driven non-profit organization committed to fulfilling the Dress for Success mission on the local level. Dress for Success Worldwide provides support to members and is responsible for the stewardship of the brand. Dress for Success Dutchess County partners with referral agencies, volunteers, organizations, and businesses to positively impact the lives of women throughout the Hudson Valley region.

We provide each client with professional attire to secure employment, but we are about much more than merely a new outfit. Besides physically equipping the client with apparel and accessories, our programs furnish her with a confidence that she carries forever and the knowledge that she can actively define her life, the direction she takes and what success means to her.
